Post Date:08/31/2017 10:41 AM

Painting in the Park Art Bazaar at Station Square Park in Downtown Clearwater delivers another artistic event set for Saturday, September 2 from 5 to 9 p.m. with more art, music and drinks under the stars.

The event will feature another exciting and unique Art Throwdown and Open Air Art Bazaar at Station Square Park, 612 Cleveland St. in Downtown Clearwater. During the event three local artists will compete for cash prizes while creating beautiful original art. The completed paintings will be voted on by two judges and people in attendance.

Come on out and vote for your favorite artist, listen to live music, find amazing art by local artists, watch live art demonstrations, paint a rock at the free Bazaar Art Rocks table and much more.

Artist Jennie Pearl will host the event. The Florida artist specializes in murals, fine arts, unique and personalized faux finishes, acrylic, pen and ink, charcoal, watercolor, pencil drawings, digital art, mixed media and photography. Last year, she won the city of Clearwater’s Downtown Gateway Art Project.

The event is sponsored by the city’s Downtown Development Board, the city’s Community Redevelopment Agency, the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Cleveland Street Café.
